Our programs support Herschend hosts through challenging times by helping bridge financial gaps and creating a path to financial security through assistance and education. Programs include Hardship Assistance, Child Assistance, and Personal Finance Courses

Hardship Assistance

The Hardships Assistance Program is available to all Herschend hosts at participating properties for Critical Assistance (life threatening illness, natural disaster, serious accident, etc.). Other basic needs may be covered on a case-by-case basis.

Child Assistance

The Child Assistance Program (CAP) is designed to provide monthly financial assistance to parents raising children through age 16 during times when the expense of raising children is overwhelming, and it is hard to make ends meet. Assistance is temporary and based on income guidelines.
