Child Assistance

The Child Assistance Program (CAP) is designed to provide monthly financial assistance to parents raising children through age 16 during times when the expense of raising children is overwhelming and it is hard to make ends meet. Assistance is temporary and based on income guidelines.

Examples of Covered Expenses:

  • Rent/Mortgage
  • Food
  • Childcare
  • School Activities
  • Diapers/Formula
  • Medical and Dental Care

The Child Assistance Program is currently only available for Herschend Hosts who work at these properties:

  • Adventure Aquarium
  • Callaway Resort & Gardens
  • Dollywood Parks & Resorts
  • Harlem Globetrotters
  • Kentucky Kingdom
  • Newport Aquarium
  • Pink Adventure Tours
  • Property Support Center
  • Silver Dollar City Parks & Resort
  • Wild Adventures

The program may be available to additional Herschend properties at a future date.

How To Apply:

1) You will need the following information to apply:

  • Most recent Federal Income Tax Return

2) Complete the online application using the below link:

Who is eligible?

  • Herschend employees with children ages birth-16
  • The child or children must live in the employee's home more than 50% of the time
  • Must be employed with Herschend for a minimum of 30 days before an application can be considered
