Child Assistance

If you’re in a two-parent or single-parent household with kids ages 18 and under, Share It Forward has resources available through the Child Assistance Program (CAP). CAP provides monthly assistance to help share the load when parents find themselves overwhelmed and are having trouble making ends meet. Assistance is based on income guidelines.

Samples of expenses that may be covered: 

  • Rent 
  • Childcare 
  • School Supplies and Activities 
  • Food 
  • Diapers 
  • Medical or Dental Care 

Items not covered include: 

  • Cell phones and cell phone service 
  • Streaming Services 
  • Cable TV

1)You will need the following information to apply:

  • Most recent Federal Income Tax Return 

2) Complete the online application using the below link:

Who is eligible?

  • Herschend employees with children 18 years and under 
  • The child or children must live in the employee's home more than 50% of the time 
  • Must be employed with Herschend for a minimum of 30 days before an application can be considered 
  • Available for seasonal and part-time employees, even if on a break in service if they have returned a re-hire letter by the deadline
